1.    Privacy: - Privacy concerns relate to the privacy of hosted data, the user data – whether the host company can access the hosted user data with or without permission. Cloud computing poses privacy concerns because the service provider may access the data that is on the cloud of any point in time. They could accidentally or deliberately alter or even delete information.

2.   Compliance: - There are many regulations in place related data and hosting. To comply with regulations users may have to adopt community or hybrid deployment modes that are typically more expensive and may offer restricted benefits. The user/customer have to adhere to these regulations on export of personal data.

3.   Security: - When using cloud-based services, one is entrusting their data to a third-party for storage and security. Can one assume that a cloud-based company will protect and secure one’s data if one is using their services at a very low cost or for free? Cloud-sourcing involves the use of many services, and many cloud based servers provide services to each other, and thus cloud-based products may have to share user’s data with third-parties if they are processing or transferring user-data. They may share user’s information with advertisers as well. Security presents a real threat to cloud.

4.   Sustainability: - This issue refers to minimizing the effect of cloud computing on environment and making it as green as possible. Citing the servers’ effects on the environment effects of cloud computing, in areas where climate favors natural cooling and renewable electricity is readily available, the countries with favorable conditions, such as Finland, Sweden and Switzerland are trying to attract cloud computing data centers. As here climate conditions support cloud computing with minimal damages to environment. But other than nature’s favors, would these countries have enough technical infrastructure to sustain the high-end clouds?

5.   Abuse: - This is again very serious and import issue. While proving cloud services, it should be ascertained that the client is not purchasing the services of cloud computing for nefarious purpose such as password cracking and launching attacks using the purchased services. In 2009, a banking Trojan illegally used the popular Amazon services as a command and control channel that issued software updates and malicious instructions to PCs that were infected by the malware.So the hosting companies and servers should have proper measures to address these issues.
